Naya Rivera to return to Glee season 5, Dot Marie Jones’ future unsure

Dot Marie Jones – who plays Coach Bieste on Glee – says she’s unsure if she will be on season 5 of the hit TV show.

“I’m still waiting to see if I’m coming back to Glee,” Jones told E! News “I pray to God I am! It’s the best job I’ve had in my life.”

We reported last week, that Amber Riley (Mercedes), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chan), Heather Morris (Brittany) and Mark Salling (Puck) won’t return as series regulars, and Jayma Mays – who plays Emma – has moved over the CBS’ new show The Millers.

However, Naya Rivera – who plays Santana – has confirmed that she will be back on Glee for season five, telling E! News “I’ve been saying for a while that I thought when we come back for season five, I would love to explore Santana as this independent adult living in this new city and what that means for her love life and all that good stuff.”

Glee returns to FOX (in the US) in September 2013. Sky1 will shortly follow.
