England’s last-16 clash with Nigeria in the Women’s World Cup 2023 will take place on Monday 7th August.

The match – staged at Lang Park in Brisbane, Australia – will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 8.00pm.

England topped their group with a 100 per cent record, labouring to 1-0 wins over Haiti and Denmark, before finding their best form in their final match with an emphatic 6-1 victory over China.

Nigeria finished second in Group B after goalless draws with Canada and Republic of Ireland either side of a shock 3-2 victory over Australia.

Gabby Logan will be joined in the studio by Alex Scott, Ellen White and Jonas Eidevall.

The match will be streamed live via the BBC iPlayer.

The BBC will also air the last-16 match between Australia and Denmark from 11.00am. Highlights of both games will air on BBC Three from 9.05am.
