Jake Quickenden is the new clear favourite to be named as this year’s King of the Jungle according to leading bookmaker Ladbrokes.
During Sunday night’s episode of the hit ITV show, the bookies have been bowled over by bets for the X Factor star to be crowned as the winner, and Jake now occupies solo favouritism at odds of 11/8.
Former long-term front runner Jimmy is now ranked joint second in the betting along with Mel at 7/2. Having previously been quoted as the rank outsider for glory at 100/1, Edwina’s now chalked up at just 10/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Jake’s certainly got the X Factor with punters, and it was a case of when and not if he would become the clear favourite to win following Jimmy’s bully-boy banter.”
also, Tinchy Stryder is the heavy odds-on favourite to be the first celebrity to leave the jungle according to Ladbrokes.
With The Galahs immune from Monday night’s eviction it’s Tinchy from The Wombats who is most fancied for the axe by the bookies as the long odds-on favourite at 1/3.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “As far as the odds are concerned Tinchy will be Number 1 out of the jungle. From the outsiders it’s Jimmy who looks most under threat from punters’ cash.”
