Dancing on Ice 2012: Week 8 – Sam Nixon voted off

The seven remaining Dancing On Ice 2012 celebrities will perform in a rock themed live show tonight.

The celebrities and their professional skaters – Chico & Jodeyne Higgins, Chemmy Alcott & Sean Rice, Jennifer Ellison & Dan Whiston, Andy Whyment & Vicky Ogden, Jorgie Porter & Matt Evers, Sam Nixon & Alexandra Schauman & Matthew Wolfenden & Nina Ulanova – will perform to songs by Oasis, Queen, Evanescence, Bonnie Tyler, Billy Idol, Kelly Clarkson and The Killers.

Also, performing on tonight’s show is the cast of the musical ‘Rock of Ages’. The group will be performing Don’t Stop Believing by Journey.

Live Scores:

First up, dancing to Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen, are Matthew Wolfenden & Nina Ulanova.

Louie = 9.0
Robin = 8.5
Katarina = 8.5
Total = 26.0

The second couple on the ice, performing to Strong by Kelly Clarkson, are Chemmy Alcott and Sean Rice.

Louie = 7.5
Robin = 7.0
Katarina = 7.0
Total = 21.5

Third on the ice, skating to Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart, are Jennifer Ellison and Dan Whiston.

The fourth couple on the ice, dancing to Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis, are Andy Whyment and Vicky Ogden.

The sixth couple on the ice, dancing to Bring Me To Life by Evanescence, are Jorgie Porter and Matt Evers.

The final couple, skating to Mony Mony by Billy Idol, are Chico and Jodeyne Higgins..

The final leaderboard:

Phillip and Christine will return in a hour’s time (9:30pm) with tonight’s results, where the two celebrities with the least number of public votes will skate again in the skate-off.

Phillip will now name the five couples going through to next week and the two couples who will have to skate again for their survival..

The couples safe and skating next week are: Matthew & Nina, Jorgie & Matt, Jennifer & Daniel, Andy & Vicky and Chemmy & Sean.

So, Sam & Alexandar and Chico & Jodeyne are in the bottom two and will have to skate again..

It’s now time for the judges to pick who they would like to save and see perform next week.. Louie saves Chico, Robin saves Chico, and Katarina saves Chico..
