Solheim Cup 2011 live on Sky Sports

This week will see the 12th Solheim Cup take place from the Killeen Castle in County Meath in Ireland, pitting the 12 best players born in the United States against the 12 best players of European nationality.

Team USA holds the current lead of 8-3, picking up their eighth victory in 2009 by beating Alison Nicholas’ team Europe 16-12.

The biennial golf tournament will take place over three days from Friday 23rd – 25th September 2011.

Sky Sports will have live exclusive rights showing over 31 hours of live coverage. Eurosport and Sky will both show highlights in the evenings.

It tees off with the opening ceremony on Thursday 22nd September at 17:00 on Sky Sports 1.
