Arsenal v Chelsea – Community Shield 2017 – Live TV Coverage on BT Sport

Chelsea take on Arsenal in the 2017 Community Shield on Sunday 6th August.

The traditional curtain-raiser to the top-flight campaign will be shown live on BT Sport as the Premier League and FA Cup-winners clash at Wembley Stadium.

Arsenal won the cup by defeating Chelsea 2-1 here in the May final, going some way towards making up for a faltering league campaign that saw them miss out on Champions League football for the first time since the 1997/98 season.

The FA Cup winners have won each of the last three Community Shields. The cup holders had been victorious in only one of the seven Community Shields prior to this run.

This will be the third Community Shield between Chelsea and Arsenal – with the Blues winning in 2005 and the Gunners in 2015

Big-money signings Alexandre Lacazette and Alvaro Morata are ones to watch.

Coverage starts at 1.00pm on BT Sport 1. Kick-off 2.00pm.

Manish Bhasin will present free-to-air highlights on BBC One from 10.30pm on Sunday evening.
