21? Oh , ok 30!

Where are you from?
Born in Cheshire, bred in Brum, Live in Sale.

How did you get started in broadcasting?
Got the bug thanks to my wonderful late uncle who took me to the museum of the moving image in London where you can pretend to read the news and interview people! But fulfilled my dream when I began at Radio Merseyside having completed my PG dip in Broadcast journalism in Preston 98-99

When was that?
When I was about 9!

Why News broadcasting?
The variety. The speed. The feeling you’re telling people things they need to know and that you’re the first to do it.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
BBC radio Merseyside.

What is your Best on-air moment?
Both are Liverpool related. Broadcasting live from St Georges Hall as Liverpool came back from Istanbul with the cup! Or interviewing the delightful Mr Alan Hansen!

What is your Worst on-air moment?
It was during a live 2 way but I cant repeat it!

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Make a difference. Gain the total respect of the audience.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Run, Sing ( just started lessons!). Read trashy magazines. Spend time with my wonderful friends and family, esp my adorable Jono and Mouse.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Be prepared to work hard, be patient, and keep your chin up!
