Not realising I was on air and continuing to brush my hair instead of reading the headlines

What would you like to do before your career ends?
The list is endless

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Play with my kids

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Don’t come into tv thinking you want to be a presenter. Work out what area of tv you’re interested in , get a job in it , learn all about it – and then think whether you still want to be a presenter
