Where are you from?
Originally from the Midlands.

How did you get started in broadcasting?
Accepted onto Graduate Studio Manager training course. (Radio)

Why News broadcasting?
Always interested in news – grew to appreciate inteational news as a student, studying into the night and listening to the World Service.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
I have worked for World Service as a newsreader and music presenter for many years.

What is your Best on-air moment?
Lots of them – I enjoy my work, particuarly interviewing.

What is your Worst on-air moment?
When speaker blew whilst on air – as was seen on ‘Aunties Bloomers.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
I enjoy going to the theatre and seeing all forms of the arts.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Very hard to get into the media – perserverence is a must! Be aware of anto social hours and working under pressure. But the people make it wonderful!
