One of Britain’s best loved newsreaders Sir Trevor McDonald is preparing to present his final ITV bulletin.

McDonald will present his final ITV News At Ten Thirty this evening before retiring from ITN and handing over the bulletin to Mark Austin, who takes over the bulletin in January.

Sir Trevor will continue to present his current affairs programme Tonight With Trevor McDonald as well as some new commissions.

The TV Newsroom will have full coverage of Sir Trevor’s final bulletin.
