ITN was nominated for its Channel 4 News report Lebanon Endgame.
It goes up against Philippines broadcaster ABS-CBN’s Bandila: The Subic Rape Case Promulgation; Globo TV in Brazil’s Jornal Nacional: Caravana JN – Elections; and Romania’s Pro TV special Pro TV News: Tibetans at the Chinese Border.
Guardian Films was nominated in the current affairs category for its documentary Baghdad: A Doctor’s Story, which aired on BBC2.
The winners will be announced on September 24 in New York.
