Genuinely saddened to hear of my former Sky Sports colleague Steve Lee’s passing. We covered the midlands in opposition when he ruled the BBC and together at Sky. He was, Steve, simple as that, a good operator and bloke. Love to the family and friends he leaves behind. RIP ??

What a sad few days. First David Mercer and now news that Sky Sports reporter Steve Lee has passed away. Worked with him on Premier League highlights and magazine shows for several seasons and thoroughly enjoyed his company. An accomplished pro and lovely, down to earth bloke.
