Yeah, I was wondering that. I know the Sky News one was today, but I’m not sure about the Sports one. Sometime early next year???

but what would they do with all the stuff that was left in the studio that was not moved to the new one. such as the newswall. it would be brilliant to have a studio that you could move around in rather than the usual boaring desk

That’s a shame. How long have they been in the current news studio?

    since launch in 1998.

They could do with a relaunch as the current set is looking very cramped and dated. It does the job (which is the only thing that matters really), but it’s a shame to see how it has regressed since ’98 when it looked fantastic. Since then, they’ve introduced the gaudy pale blues/ gauze curtain which makes the place look tiny.

I heard that Sky Vegas could get studio 2. Although IMO it’ll be better to move Sky Sports News to studio 2 and give studio 1 to Vegas.
