Sky News did rather well yesterday, in Ireland. Despite the fact that Sky News Ireland was on it’s weekend break Sky News was first to broadcast Live pictures and report what was going on in Dublin.

I think they even showed an interview with the Taoiseach before RT? News or TV3 News!

Having already reported on the May Day protests, Ray Kennedy again did a great job.
Poor Charlie Bird (RT?) failed to report the story as he became a part of it (he ended up in hospital having been beaten up). I am sorry for what happened to him, but I think he was a little silly. His own fame and recognition put him in danger. Perhaps he should take body guards the next time, or should RTE just send someone who will be less of a target. I’m sure their Health & Safety department will be having a word with him. He’s very good and should stay safe.
