[[Christine Bleakley]] and [[Adrian Chiles]] have been axed from ITV’s morning show, Daybreak.
According to Saturday’s Daily Mirror, Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley were fired from the show for failing to boost ratings beyond 700.000.
The paper says the pair will leave the show “within weeks”.
An insider told the paper: “Advertising had fallen off a cliff as Adrian and Christine were such a turn-off. They have to go.”
So, if true, who is likely to replace the couple. They may look to [[Sian Williams]] who is leaving BBC Breakfast when the show relocates to the MediaCityUK studios in Manchester next year.
OR maybe Johnny Vaughan who is leaving his breakfast show on 95.8 Capital FM after nearly eight years.
Perhaps the show’s bosses will decide to promote within the programme and give the lead roles to [[Dan Lobb]] and [[Kate Garraway]].
