Biography: Kay Burley is a former presenter on Sky News.
Burley’s journey with Sky commenced in February 1988, a significant milestone being the launch of the Sky One Entertainment Channel in November 1988. Her involvement in this venture included the creation of her own documentary titled “The Satellite Revolution”.
Renowned for her extensive live television experience, Burley found herself on-air during pivotal moments such as the tragic events of the second plane hitting the World Trade Centre in New York.
Throughout her career, she has covered a plethora of breaking news stories, including the crash and subsequent relaunch of Concorde, the historic fall of the Berlin Wall, and the passing of Princess Margaret.
Beyond her adept handling of breaking news, Burley has also conducted interviews with a diverse range of notable figures from the realms of politics, sports, and entertainment.
