She was born in West Texas and graduated from Tahoka High School.
In 1985, she followed her dream to work in Professional Wrestling and moved to San Antonio, TX. From there, she moved to Dallas and then on to Atlanta.
When she arrived in Atlanta in 1989, Engle began a career at World Championship Wrestling which was owned by Ted Turner and Turner Broadcasting.
While at WCW, she became Talent Relations Manager and I helped coordinate many events including fundraising for many charities.
In 2004, three years after WCW closed, Engle was contacted by Hulk Hogan to move to Florida to manage their business office. She also became a personal assistant to the Hogan family, including Ruth, Hulk’s 85 year old mother.
