BBC Parliament has released details of a series of special programmes to air this evening on the political life of Baroness Thatcher – who died today at the age of 87.

7.40pm – Campaign 1979: Michael Cockerell follows Margaret Thatcher on the 1979 campaign trail.(from 30 April 1979)

8pm – 1980 Conservative Party conference speech: Margaret Thatcher’s famous “the lady’s not for turning” speech.(from 10 October 1980)

8.50pm – The Prime Minister: Robin Day interviews Prime Minister Margaret THATCHER in Downing Street.(from 9 April 1984)

9.40pm – 1984 Conservative Party conference speech: Margaret Thatcher’s conference speech in the aftermath of the Brighton bomb(from 12 October 1984)

10.40pm – Panorama: Robin Day interviews Mrs Thatcher on her record and party polices.(from 8 June 1987)

11.30pm – Prime minister Margaret Thatcher addresses a motion of no confidence in her final speech as leader in the Commons(from 22 November 1990)
