David Chater leaves Sky News

Sky News correspondent David Chater, is to leave the network.

David, who is Sky’s Africa correspondent, reported during the second Gulf war and is resigning after 13 years with Sky News.

It is not thought his exit is related to the changes being implemented at the channel this week.

Nick Pollard, said Chater was leaving to pursue “other interests” and praised his “outstanding career” with the network.
