Lana Del Rey Born to Die

The BBC have announced the first couple of performers to sing live on The Voice UK results shows.

American singer-songwriter, Lana Del Rey, will be the first live performer. The Born to Die singer will perform Blue Jeans on the 29 April results show.

A week later, British soul and R&B recording artist, Emeli Sandé, will sing her new single My Kind Of Love on the second results show on 6 May.

But before the live show, superstar coaches Jessie J, will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones have to reduce their teams from ten to five artists and will do so this weekend in the Battles stage.

The coaches must divide their teams in to five pairs with each pair taking part in a battle duet. Each coach must then choose just one artist per duet to put through to the live shows.

The Voice UK continues tonight and 7pm and tomorrow at 7:30pm on BBC One.
