In the BBC’s Latin American World Service, because I speak Spanish.

Why News broadcasting?
Because I am a news addict.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
BBC Radio Five Live (Sport on Five, Drive) Exclusive on Channel 5.

What is your Best on-air moment?
Presenting News 24 live from the Oval when England won the Ashes last summer.

What is your Worst on-air moment?
When having done numerous shifts of Five Live I said “good moing you are watching BBC News 25”.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Keep going.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Drink coffee, eat cake and go for a run round the park to make up for it.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Start in local radio or newspapers where you will really lea your trade.
