Did Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism in Falmouth…then got researchers job at ITV Westcountry in Plymouth.

1993

Why News broadcasting?
More interested in broadcasting than newspapers.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
ITV Westcountry. Pirate FM (Freelancing at college)

What is your Best on-air moment?
July 7th Bombing. A very nerve wracking morning and as the full scale of the attacks became clear very frightening too.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Interview Robbie Williams !!

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I walk lots with my dog. Visit Cornwall and my family as much as possible. I also swim and play the piano.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Do as much work experience as possible. Contact all your local media organisations and be persistent.
