Why Sports News broadcasting?
It’s my number one passion in life.

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
Local radio, world service radio, Five Live.

What is your Best on-air moment?
Becoming the first woman to present Match of the Day.

What is your Worst on-air moment?
I was in Athens, reporting in the field on the Olympics with Mike Bushell. 2 minutes to air, his talkback went down so he couldn’t hear the questions. We both did the whole interview with him not being able to hear anything so I had to keep rephrasing what they were saying in London so he could answer. It went on for about 15 minutes.

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Play a round of golf with Tiger Woods.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Go to gigs, theatre, sport – skiing and football.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
Make sure you work in a subject you are passionate about.
