How did you get started in broadcasting?
After graduating from Bristol University, I did the City University postgraduate course.

When was that?
2004

Why News broadcasting?
Always changing, fast paced, exciting, challenging and totally different every day!

Where else would have viewers seen or heard you before?
ITV Central, ITV Thames Valley and The CKNW Radio Network, Canada

What is your Best on-air moment?
Probably still to come!

What is your Worst on-air moment?
Nothing too bad yet -But I did have to do about 25 takes for a simple piece to camera by Silverstone racetrack though – the cameraman wasn’t too happy!

What would you like to do before your career ends?
Foreign reporting.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Visit friends, play and watch all sports, especially cricket and tennis, and read.

What advice would you give to anyone that would like to get into the broadcasting world?
All very cliched I’m afraid but just keep plugging away and get as much work experience as possible. Someone will eventually offer you a job.
