Paralympics 2012, Day 9

Richard Whitehead’s astonishing win in the 200m was one of the early highlights of the Paralympics and he’s back on track in the 100m today.

The shorter distance doesn’t allow him to make full use of his fast finish but the 36-year-old was inspired by the Olympic Stadium crowd on Saturday and maybe he could take flight again.

Mickey Bushell is also after a sprint double when he goes in the T53 200m (9.31pm).
