Clare Balding, Ade Adepitan, Jon Snow and Krishnan Guru-Murthy will present Channel 4′s coverage of the end of the Paralympic Games tonight, as 11 days of competition are officially brought to a close in a show entitled Festival of Flame.

Coldplay will take to the stage to give a live concert in the Olympic Stadium, which will be seen by an estimated worldwide audience of 750 million people.

Working with choreographer Kim Gavin, Closing Ceremony Artistic Director, the band performs alongside a cast of almost 2000 in the stadium to celebrate Britain’s rich culture of festivals, from the ancient to the modern-day, and mark the closing of the London 2012 Games.

The night also features the extinguishing of the Paralympic Flame, marking the formal closing of the event, as well as the official handover to a delegation from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, which will host the next Games in 2016.

The coverage begins at 7pm on Channel 4 this evening. The ceremony starts at 8.30pm..
