UEFA Champions League 2012

Sky Sports will broadcast live UEFA Champions League coverage this evening when Manchester City take on Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal meet Olympiakos.

City are aiming to recover from an agonising 3-2 defeat away to Real Madrid in their opener and came unstuck last season against German opposition, as they missed out on qualifying for the last 16 by finishing behind Bayern Munich and Napoli.

Dortmund lost influential midfielder Shinji Kagawa to City’s rivals Manchester United during the summer, but they still managed to get their European campaign off to a solid start with a 1-0 home win against Ajax.

Match coverage, live from the Etihad Stadium, begins at 7pm on Sky Sports 2, kick-off 7.45pm..

Arsene Wenger’s men will expect to take another three points after defeating Montpellier in their opener.

The sides were also drawn together at this stage last term, with the Gunners winning 2-1 at this venue, before the Greek outfit avenged that defeat with a 3-1 home win after Arsene Wenger’s men had already secured qualification for the knockout stage.

Live coverage from the Emirates Stadium begins at 7.30pm on Sky Sports 4, kick-off 7.45pm.
