Great Britain’s Laura Robson will take on the defending U.S Open champion Samantha Stosur in round four of the competition today.

The Australian beat Serena Williams 6-2, 6-3 in the final of U.S. Open 2011 to take her first major.

After comfortably coming through the first three rounds, Samantha comes up against the young giant killer Laura Robson, who has dumped the three-time champion Kim Clijsters and the number 9 seed Li Na out of the competition.

The match is schedule at the Louis Armstrong Stadium round 10pm UK time.

Also today, the number 1 seed Victoria Azarenka takes on Anna Tatishvili. Maria Sharapova entertains Nadia Petrova. And Petra Kvitova meets Marion Bartoli.

The men’s third round concludes today as Andy Roddick meets Fabio Fognini, Novak Djokovic takes on Julien Benneteau and Lleyton Hewitt is up against David Ferrer.
