England are feeling a bit better after their heavy defeat in the series opener, by hanging on for a draw in the second test – England 425 & 130-4, South Africa 419 & 258-9.
But England will need to win this final Test to square the series and hang on to their number one world ranking.
England have made two changes from the second Test. Jonny Bairstow replaced Kevin Pietersen, who has been omitted from the squad following the text messaging fiasco, and Graeme Swann returns in place of Tim Bresnan. South Africa are unchanged.
