It’s less than two months since Italy ended England’s Euro 2012 dreams in a penalty shoot-out in the quarter-finals in Kiev.
Cesare Prandelli’s men outplayed the English for much of the match before going on to finish the tournament as runners-up to Spain, and are likely to provide Roy Hodgson’s side with another difficult challenge.
Hodgson and his England team will view tonight’s match not only as a chance to gain revenge, but also as a springboard for the 2014 World Cup Qualifying campaign that begins next month.
Meanwhile Italy will be hoping to erase the painful memory of the 4-0 drubbing they suffered at the hands of Spain in the Euro 2012 Final last month.
The match will broadcast live on ITV1 and ITV1 HD from 7.30pm – kick-off 8pm
[[Adrian Chiles]] is joined in the studio by Roy Keane, [[Lee Dixon]] and [[Gareth Southgate]], and commentary comes from [[Clive Tyldesley]] and [[Andy Townsend]].
