Channel 4 Horse Racing live from Newbury, Newmarket & Ripon

Channel 4 racing will broadcast a total of eight races live from Newbury, Newmarket and Ripon today.

Newbury’s Geoffrey Freer victors are normally last-time-out winners, so check for those in form.

While at Newmarket there’s the wonderful spectacle of a race restricted to grey horses.

Pepper Lane became the first horse for ten years to win from a stall higher than 12 in the Great St Wilfrid, but that stat may have been due to the soft ground, so be aware!
