Andy Murrray v Feliciano Lopez – U.S Open 2012 – Live coverage on Sky Sports 1, Eurosport

The men’s third round matches in the 2012 U.S Open will begin today as day 6 of the competition is upon us.

Great Britain’s Andy Murray will meet the number 30 seed Feliciano Lopez.

The Spaniard came through the first round in straight sets 6-3 7-5 6-2 against Robin Haase, but had to go the distance in the second round after winning the first two set, before fellow countryman Pablo Andujar took the next two sets with Lopez winning the fifth and final set..

Murray dominated his first two round matches.. He beat Alex Bogomolov 6-2 6-4 6-1 and saw off Ivan Dodig 6-2 6-1 6-3 in the second round.

The match is second up at the Louis Armstrong Stadium and live coverage is available on Sky Sports 1 from 4pm. We believe Andy could be on court around 6pm UK time..

Also today, the world’s number one Roger Federer will take on Fernando Verdasco, Mardy Fish meets Giles Simon and Serena Williams is up against the Russian Ekaterina Makarova.
