Andy Murray v Tomas Berdych – US Open Semi-Final – Live on Sky Sports

The men’s semi-finals and the ladies’ final will take place today at U.S Open 2012.

Great Britain’s Andy Murray will take on the number 6 seed Tomas Berdych in the first semi-final.

The Czech knocked out the world’s number one Roger Federer in the quarter finals in a four set match 7-6 6-4 3-6 6-3.

Murray lost the first set to Marin Cilic in the quarters and was 5-1 down in the second set, before taking it to a tie-break, in which he won 7-4.

Andy then sailed through the last two sets with ease – 3-6 7-6 6-2 6-0.

The match will begin around 5pm UK time on Sky Sports 2.

Following that match, Novak Djokovic will meet David Ferrer in the second semi-final, where the victor will face the winner of the Berdych / Murray match in the final.

Also, Victoria Azarenka will entertain Serena Williams in the ladies’ final The match is scheduled for 12am UK Time. EDIT: the match has been postponed until tomorrow..

Azarenka dumped the Russian Maria Sharapova out of the competition 3-6 6-2 6-4 in the semis, and after six single games at US Open 2012, Serena Williams hasn’t drop a set and came through her semi-final match 6-1 6-2 against Sara Errani.
