Presenter of the Year: Julie Etchingham Sky News Jon Snow Channel 4 NewsAlastair Stewart ITV News Channel
News Channel of the Year: BBC News 24 ITV News ChannelSky News
Of course I’d like to see Julie get the presenter’s award, but wouldn’t be surprised if Jon Snow won it.
Have a sneaky feeling that News 24 will snatch the “News Channel of the Year” this time around.
No individual reporter nominations? Quel surprise….
I hope Julie Etchingham wins. Think she’s very good. Jon Snow’s too much of a ‘celeb’ for me these days. Can’t comment on AS as haven’t seen him for years.
Skybaby, if they can give it to someone other than Snuk, they surely will
I truly hope Julie will get the award. She is a great presenter and she is doing her job very professionaly. As for other nomination, I agree with Skybaby, I also have a feeling that BBC News 24 might get the award this year. I hope I’m wrong.
i was hopping jeremy would of been nominated, his coverage during the tsunami was unreal but obviously he cant be.
They’ve done it again. Sky News have won ‘News channel of the year’ for the 4th year running.
Chris Roberts, Anna botting, Kay Burley were all on hand to received the award.
More details coming soon.

so much about my hopes!
ah well, she is one of the finest female presenters and she WILL grab that award sooner or later.Fingers crossed for next year!_______Tanya
I know that SKY was not nominated but does anyone know who got journalist, young journalist and specialist journalist of the year?
Johnnie any chance of getting so HQ shots of Kay from last night?
Congratulations Sky News!
Well done sky! Whens the celebration party? and are we invited
Good thing I don’t want to be a clairvoyant
Must admit that I am surprised they got it – I know I wasn’t able to watch for most of last year but from the general comment floating around a lot of people were finding the channel stale…
Sorry that Julie lost out – Sky don’t have much luck in the presenter catergory, do they?
I haven’t been able to watch the report, but from the pics everyone looked nicely spruced up. I laughed though – in a couple of the grabs it looks like Mark is taking a good look at Kay’s backside!
And who wouldnt sneak a peek at Kay’s lovely rear?!!!I would
Well done to Sky News, but wether they won the award or not, they’ll always be my News Channel of the year
