The One Show announces co-presenter

The One Show, the BBC’s remake of Nationwide, is to be co-presented by Adrian Chiles and Nadia Sawalha, it has been announced.

Sawalha, 41, is a new addition to the line up. Chiles was announced as presenter last month.

Sawalha has become a regular face on BBC One presenting programmes such as City Hospital and Passport to the Sun since leaving EastEnders in 1999.

The One Show will feature a mix of interviews, factual features and topical stories when it is broadcast later this summer.
