Just watched the BBC One News at 6. They used clips from the Sky interview on a report they created.

I noted that they didn’t credit Sky for the pictures/interview!

It wouldn’t have been done without their permission.

I don’t think they have to credit the news network – it’s not an exclusive – Its a pre-arranged interview, which was always going to be shown on the BBC , ITV, C4 and Five..

I think this is the first time Sky have done one of these interviews with a royal – Normally The BBC or ITV do these interviews – but according to this news article the Royal’s are trying to snub the BBC.

^ That’s the thing I don’t understand! I thought Prince Harry was to snub the BBC and give his 21st birthday interview to Sky only?

But he ended up giving three interviews…

One with Sky News as we know. Sky News Report >>>

Another with the BBC. BBC Interview >>>.

The third one, not sure, but it was probably with ITV News.

    They’re the same interview.

In the BBC’s interview (linked above) Sophie is linking to pieces from the interview that Sky done – It isn’t a Sky exclusive..

It’s similar to war reporting – where reports can be used by any network.
I remember seeing ITV’s Bill Neely many times on Sky News during the War on Iraq (03).
