Fiona Bruce currently presents the BBC Ten O’clock News each Friday evening as well as evening bulletins most Sundays.

Fiona also presents the Antiques Roadshow. She used to present Crimewatch UK with Nick Ross, as well as a host of other programmes including Real Story and Call My Bluff. She has also presented The Antiques Show, Newsnight and the weekly current affairs programme Public Eye for BBC TWO, and has reported on the BBC One flagship current affairs programme, Panorama.

Fiona began her BBC career as a researcher for Panorama and soon became an assistant producer on the programme. Fiona also presented the BBC World Service’s daily programme TV Newsday and reported on BBC One’s Breakfast News in 1992, before joining BBC South East as a news presenter and reporter for the regional current affairs programme, First Sight. In May 1999, she joined the BBC Six O’clock News as Friday presenter and joined the Ten O’clock News in 2003. In 2001, Fiona became the first female to be a part of the BBC’s Election presenting team.

Fiona speaks fluent Italian and French and is a graduate of Oxford University.
