Katie Ledger joined ITV News in 2005 as was a presenter on the ITV News Channel.

Prior to this, Katie was a presenter on Five News, filling in on the lunchtime and evening bulletins as well as presenting at weekends. Katie joined Five in 1997 and whilst there also presented the Five Breakfast Show with Jonas Hurst.

Katie Ledger first started in television as a trainee reporter for channel TVB in Hong Kong in 1991. She then joined the Central News South reporting team before joining the BBC’s regional news magazine Spotlight. For over three years, she was a member of the presentation team, covering many of the top stories in the area.

Whilst at Channel 5, she also presented her own series of Weatherfront, an up to the minute weather and features programme, Agony Hour and Do You Believe? – both moral and religious debate and discussion programmes. She also worked on Gloria Hunniford’s “Open House” as well as voicing numerous Channel 5 documentaries.
