Angus Walker is a former China Correspondent for ITV News.

Angus joined ITN, which produces news for ITV, in November 2000 as a Westminster reporter.

He reported on a range of stories, including the foot-and-mouth outbreak, Peter Mandelson’s second sacking, the 2001 General Election, the Tory leadership race and the political side of the war in Afghanistan.

In December 2001, Angus became a business producer and news reporter for ITV News.

Angus took up his Political Correspondent position in January 2003.

Before joining ITV News, Angus worked for Carlton Westcountry TV for nearly four years, where he was a political reporter and producer for their monthly documentary series, Power Game.

Previously, he spent nearly four years in local radio in the South West, working at Lantern FM in Devon for two years.

He then went on to obtain a post-graduate broadcast journalism qualification at Falmouth College of Arts.

Angus became UK Editor for ITV News, before moving to China Correspondent in 2010.
